this available boy is Coors.  He is a wonderful loving boy with a happy attitude.

Miller and Coors are just over 19 weeks old.   Their eyes and noses show the much sought after black pigment.   Mother is Jessie and father is Ch. Samadam's Tyler at Freehaven - parents have excellent health and temperament.    They has been vet checked and vaccinated, with their full set of shots (saving quite an expensive cost for the new owner)- dewormed twice, raised in our home in our rec room, taken for nice walks along country lanes -  and fully adapted to house life.

we call this lovely boy Miller click on his name for further information.

New owners have the fantastic advantage of these boys that have already accomplished lead and crate training - makes the transition to your home far quicker - to 3 or 5 days compared to a younger pup.  They readily accept their new owners leadership, exhibiting a wonderful trait of the Labrador breed.  Able to fit in with any family with minimal fuss.    You will be rewarded for your time spent with your guy many times over. They live to please you. Contact Samantha for further information.

special thanks to Debbie Rattie for her boy Champion Samadam Tyler at Freehaven - a wonderful Father of this litter.  And Candi for being Jessie's main Mom.

All of our dogs are professionally trained by Sam for obedience or conformation events as well as gently instilling manners in family pets.  She works well with horses also, placing in western horsemanship events at our local shows.

Our lines come from show and obedience working dogs with strong hunting/retrieving instincts. They have the quality lineage that enable them to make excellent easy to train companion dogs fit for any caring family.

Breed History/Philosophy

We purchased our first Labrador in 1992. The puppy we took home was to be a companion for us and our two children. Mocha drew us into the world of dog shows, hunting and breeding. Because of her we bought a new station wagon, I got my hunting licence, we joined 2 all-breed dog clubs and 3 Labrador Retriever Clubs, volunteered as gunners for the hunting WC tests and show our dogs at Championship Conformation Shows and Obedience Trials. Talk about influencing your life. We are proud members of CKC, LOC, LRCC and EOLBA.

We want our dogs to be multi-purpose. Our concern is to maintain the loveable, willing-to-please, out-going nature combined with the beauty and conformation of the Labrador according to our Canadian show standard.  The fact that they retain their drive to hunt and retrieve as well as be able to bring home show and obedience titles all adds the icing to the cake.

We are proud to announce the Hastings County Riding Club Champion Western Junior Horse for 2008 Champion Samantha Neff & Logan(sponsored by Sherman's Welding) We are very proud of her and Logan.  Sam trained Logan with very little professional assistance.

Sam is now working with Rhonda Clancy for the 2010 season.  She is a wonderful teacher.  Good luck with Logan and Penny.

Samantha and her horses

Samantha and Logan did very well at the horse show at the Kingston Exhibition in September last year 2009.  We were very proud of how the two of them did on such short notice...Sam had been using Penny for her shows in Napanee and at the Hastings Horse Club shows.  Unfortunately Penny suffered a mild injury which put her out of contention, but Logie did very well even though he hadn't been in the show ring in two months...good luck this year you two.
